Privacy Policy

Last Updated & Legally Effective: August 27, 2026 • Version 2.4
STREAMER PRIVACY & ZERO-AUDIO-RECORDING GUARANTEE: StreamTune is engineered with a strict local-first privacy architecture. All digital signal processing, voice calibration, noise filtering, and auto-ducking routines execute 100% locally in your computer's temporary volatile RAM. We NEVER record, eavesdrop, stream, capture, store, or transmit your microphone audio, voice recordings, Discord conversations, or private desktop sound to any cloud server, third party, or external database.

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

We maintain an uncompromising privacy standard for streamers, content creators, and competitive gamers:

  • No Audio or Voice Telemetry: We do not collect raw audio packets, processed audio buffers, vocal frequency telemetry, or ambient acoustic data.
  • No Eavesdropping / Transcription: We do not transcribe speech, run automated keyword detection, or log private communications.
  • No Keystroke / Screen Logging: We do not capture keystrokes, screenshots, webcam feeds, open browser windows, or game titles.
  • No Third-Party Advertising Trackers: We do not sell user data to advertising networks, data brokers, or behavioral analytics providers.

2. Information We Collect and Process

To deliver licensed software functionality, prevent digital piracy, and process transactions, we collect strictly minimal technical and transactional data:

A. Transaction & Payment Information (Stripe PCI-DSS)

When you purchase a lifetime license ($4.99 USD), all payment processing is handled directly by Stripe, Inc., a certified PCI-DSS Level 1 payment service provider. StreamTune receives and stores only:

  • Your verified billing email address (for license delivery, receipt dispatch, and self-service refund verification);
  • Stripe Transaction ID and Payment Timestamp;
  • Country / Region of purchase (for statutory digital sales tax / VAT compliance).

StreamTune servers NEVER see, handle, or store credit card numbers, expiration dates, or CVV codes.

B. Cryptographic Hardware Fingerprint (HWID)

To enforce our two (2) personal computing device limit per purchased license and prevent publicly leaked keys from mass commercial abuse, the client generates a one-way, irreversible SHA-256 cryptographic hash derived from CPU, motherboard, and system UUID parameters.

This hash is completely anonymized, cannot be reversed into hardware serial numbers, and is transmitted over encrypted TLS 1.3 to our Cloudflare Workers edge key verification API exclusively during trial verification, initial license activation, and device migration requests.

3. Cloudflare Edge Security & Infrastructure

StreamTune utilizes Cloudflare Workers and Cloudflare Edge Network for DNS routing, DDoS protection, edge SSL termination, and license validation. Cloudflare may log standard server access headers (IP address, User-Agent, request timestamp) for security telemetry and rate-limiting purposes in accordance with Cloudflare's strict Enterprise Privacy Standards.

4. Data Retention & Automatic Expiry

  • 1-Hour Trial Tokens: Temporary trial records stored in our edge key-value ledger automatically expire and are permanently purged after 90 days.
  • Purchased License Records: Active license keys and hashed HWID associations are retained for the duration of your lifetime license to facilitate software reinstallations, PC upgrades, and device migration portal access (streamtune.app/manage).
  • Refunded / Revoked Keys: Upon processing a refund, all associated HWID records are marked inactive and purged from authorized validation nodes.

5. GDPR & International Data Rights (EU/EEA & UK)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland, or the United Kingdom, you possess statutory rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR, including:

  • Right to Access: The right to request an extract of your stored purchase email and active HWID associations.
  • Right to Rectification: The right to update your email address for license management.
  • Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): The right to request total deletion of your purchase record from our activation ledger (note: license deletion immediately revokes software activation capability).

To exercise any statutory data right, submit a verified request to our legal privacy desk at privacy@streamtune.app.

6. California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA / CPRA)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA), California residents are entitled to know what personal information is collected, disclosed, or sold. StreamTune does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and has not sold any personal information in the preceding 12 months.

7. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)

StreamTune is a utility tool designed for content creators and streamers. We do not knowingly solicit, collect, or process personal data from individuals under the age of 13. If you believe a minor under 13 has provided personal data, please contact us immediately for expedited data purging.

8. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in regulatory compliance, infrastructure enhancements, or operating system updates. Any material updates will be clearly reflected with a revised "Last Updated" timestamp at the top of this document.
